What this is
Three hours of childcare with a screened, insured provider, arranged after we talk with the family. We confirm the children's ages, any needs, where care happens and who else will be in the house. Care takes place at the family's home unless they ask otherwise. Providers hold a current criminal record check and vulnerable sector check. We won't take a booking we can't staff properly, and we'd rather say no than send someone unsuitable. PEI only.

Why we chose this
A parent who is dying, or whose partner is dying, still has to get children fed and out the door. Nobody wants to ask a neighbour to mind their kids during a funeral, and paying a stranger they haven't vetted feels worse.
