What this is
A home-cooked dinner made by a local cook and delivered to the door, portioned for two to four people. We agree a drop-off window with whoever is at the house, check allergies and anything they can't eat, and leave it ready to heat. Your handwritten card comes with it. Nobody has to come to the door or say anything. We confirm to you that it arrived, so the person receiving it isn't left owing a thank-you. PEI only at launch.

Why we chose this
Evening is when the energy runs out. Food arrives in the first few days after a death and then it stops, usually right when cooking becomes impossible. A dinner that lands on an ordinary Tuesday is worth more than one that arrives with the crowd.
