A Fare-Well writer produces the obituary. We take what the family has, usually in one conversation and whatever notes exist, and write it properly. Two rounds of revision are included, and we format it to the requirements of the paper or funeral home. Family members can contribute details and stories toward it. Turnaround is fast, because obituaries always are. Available anywhere.

Why we chose this
Obituaries get written at one in the morning by whoever in the family is considered good at writing, on the worst night of their life, to a deadline set by a newspaper. Handing it to someone else is one of the few genuinely useful things a friend can pay for in the first forty-eight hours.
