What this is
One in-person Reiki session of about an hour, at the bedside, delivered by a qualified Reiki Master. Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive practice, offered through light touch or with hands held near the body, entirely led by what the person wants and can tolerate. It's meant to provide a calm, quiet, supportive experience, not treatment. We confirm with the family and, in a hospital or care home, with the facility, since not every setting permits it.
What's included

- Handwritten card with the giver's message.
Why this helps
At the end of life there is very little left that anyone can offer a body except comfort. This is one of the few things that can happen in a room where nothing else is going to change, and it asks nothing of the person receiving it.
