Thirty Days of Someone at the Other End of a Text
A month of private texting with Trish, so nobody has to be alone with it at eleven at night.
- Can be sent anywhere in Canada or the US
- Can be scheduled
What this is
For thirty days, they have a grief-informed companion at the other end of a text message. Not a bot, not a queue, not a helpline. Trish.
They write when it hits, which is rarely at a convenient hour. A hard afternoon. A form they cannot face. The sentence they cannot say to family. A memory that arrived sideways in the supermarket. A reply comes back the same day, warm and human, with no expectation that they keep up their end of a conversation.
Across the month we work on what they choose: tending the grief rather than managing it, learning how to care for themselves while they are also caring for everyone else, executor and after-death paperwork explained in plain words, and the gentler work of ritual, remembrance and legacy when they are ready for it.
Companioning, not therapy or crisis care. If they need clinical or emergency support we say so directly and help them get to it. Silence is always allowed, and the thirty days are theirs whether they use them heavily or barely at all. Available anywhere.

Why we chose this
